Montreal born artist Remy releases his anticipated single "One Call". Remy is part of a Haitian descent who moved to Toronto in 2005. The single reflects on Remy's hustle and determination to show his peers he has what it takes to make it. The song has a catchy melodic sound that'll have you hitting the repeat button over and over. On the record he raps "I'm just tryna be next, all i need is respect, one call, one text, i'm gone run up them checks". From a young age Remy always knew he had love for music; growing up he said his father would collect over 1500 CDs ranging from Latin music, Kompa & R&B. Remy's brother introduced him to artists like Fabolous, 50 Cent and a lot of the west coast sound as a kid. The first song he recorded was with Persistence back in 2013 called "Murder Scene". A year after he went onto college in the United States for Basketball and it wasn’t untill 2017 when he started taking music more seriously. His first single release "Realize" gathered over 40k streams on Spotify since its release. It has also gotten radio play in Toronto’s Top Urban Station 93.5. Beazy Amerelli has released his latest single "Turn Up." Beazy Amerelli (Deondre “Dre” Lester) was born May 25th 1989. He started rapping at a young age thanks to one of his biggest influences his older cousin Ranger. As a kid he loved music and how it could just express so much in such a short or long time with catchy rhymes. In the 8th grade at the age 12 under the name “Lil Dre” he joined a group Called HRC with his childhood friends. Performing at school talent shows HRC would continue to dominate against other young MC’s. In high school he started rapping under the name Icebeazy The Dream when he was in a group with friends entitled Dubb B. 2007 was the scene of music where they started doing shows around Cleveland at places like Peabody’s, Rockstars, Scripts, and Symposium Nightclub. They later split to pursue solo careers, Beazy continued to make music with Cleveland artists such as Crazy 8 The Great, Mill, Malex3, & Starkks. Beazy Amerelli came to the light more and started doing more shows and building a name with his friends in 2014. He loves giving the world something to listen to a different rap style, a different hip to hop too. All proceeds from the sale of “I Choose” will go to the NAACP to help fight racial injustice.

As a high school senior graduating with high honors, I told my guidance counselor I wanted to be a doctor. Despite being an excellent and accomplished student, she responded that I should consider going to a trade school across town to become a cosmetologist. Thank God I had people in my life who believed in me, otherwise I wouldn’t be the pediatrician I am today.

Racial injustice comes in many forms and unfortunately it is ingrained in American society. Systemic racism plagues America at its core, which is evident in many areas including employment, wealth, education, home ownership, healthcare, access to healthy food, and incarceration.

“I Choose” is a song I wrote during first month of the COVID-19 lockdown. I felt so anxious and fearful because “the world I used to know had crumbled to the ground.” I had to make a choice. Either I was going to let the negativity destroy me or trust in God’s promises and experience hope. Even in the midst of difficult and uncertain times, I can choose not to worry, to pray about everything, and tell God what I need and thank Him for all He has done. As a result, I can experience His peace and joy.

Shortly after writing this song, the murder of George Floyd happened, once again, bring racism’s ugly fruit to global attention. However, this time, it was different. People of all races and backgrounds started to come together to protest and demand change. This song and video is dedicated to this change. All proceeds from the sale of “I Choose” will go to the NAACP to help fight racial injustice. I pray the money we raise will help to make a better world for my black children and all people to be able to LIVE and pursue their dreams. I choose to ask God to show me how I can help, I choose to pray for others and how they can be part of the solution, and I choose to pray for positive change at every level.

FM Duke Teams Up with Layzie Bone to Get This Money @mrBTC

Damin "FM Duke" Lewis started in the music industry when him and one of his childhood friends entered a talent show in the fifth grade. Winning the talent show with an original song made FM Duke realize the extraordinary talent making music that was inside of him. FM Duke broke into the industry by participating in an underground grassroots movement around Cincinnati, OH. Guided by midwest distributor Judy Jones who also introduced him to Quincy “Big Heff” Taylor. Over the past 5 years he has been a part of the “Street’s Most Wanted Tour” as well as throwing showcases and parties. In addition, Duke is involved in the Boys to Men program for the youth to show them how to do some of the basic things men need to know how to do such as give themselves a shave or tie a tie. He also does an apprenticeship program through his construction company. "I didn’t just get here, I’m the OG, so if you didn’t know me then, you know me now!” FM Duke said. Currently, FM Duke is a part of Capital Structure Entertainment, an independent record label. The label is extremely busy with the recent releases of Ty Bri and DJ Ryan Wolf. However, Duke also has a Cincinnati project he is working on, an EP that showcases three young Cincinnati artists. After meeting at a show in Cinncinatti, FM Duke and Layzie Bone decided to collaborate on a track.
